Player Sport Accident Insurance is a new optional add-on feature designed to give players peace of mind on the field or court. It provides coverage for eligible medical and accidental expenses incurred during sanctioned JAM Sports activities.
Where is this coverage option available?
This new feature is currently available exclusively in Canadian playing regions.
Who can purchase the insurance?
Team Captains: Captains can purchase coverage for their entire team during or after registration.
Free Agents: Individual players registering as Free Agents can opt-in to secure coverage for themselves.
When and where can I buy it?
You can purchase coverage two ways:
During Registration: Directly as an add-on step in your online checkout cart.
After Registration: When logged into your JAM profile, as long as your season has not started yet. Once your season begins, the option will no longer be offered. Captains can add it on behalf of the team, while Free Agents have the option to add it for themselves.
How much does it cost?
Pricing varies depending on the specific league, sport, and registration type (such as Free Agent vs. Team). The exact cost will always be clearly displayed during the purchase process.
